My First Photoshop Project
I started with color and picked blues because I find them calming. Then I decided to create two plains, one with a downwards and the other with an upwards slope, to create contrast. I guess I was most inspired by shapes in this piece and moving them around until they felt right. I did not have any art background other than what I learned the first week of class, so I didn't have much to work with other than my senses. I would have liked to do more with this image but did not have the skill set yet. I planned to add some oranges, but nothing seemed to work, then my assignment was due! I want to get back to this image whenever I have some extra time since I know a little more now than I did when I created it. I would add a circular shape inside the triangle, soften some of the lines perhaps, and add color to the black backdrop at the top of the image. There really is so much more I can do ...
