Despite my fascination with (namely military) vehicles and equipment, it is of course somewhat unfeasible to own or work on any as a young teenager. For many years I built scale model kits, usually military aircraft. I developed my skills greatly during this time, and the Messerschmitt here is the last one I finished before going to uni. Over time I taught myself how to use airbrushes, varnishes and sealants, how to file and sand miniscule pieces and make it all look realistic. The fine motor skills I developed really aided in being able to weather these models so they looked more realistic, and is something which has helped me in tech repairs.
Below are a few of my earlier attempts at creating things:
-A HP Halifax I built as a custom comission
-Props of the Master Sword & Shield from a video game (LOZ:OOT) for a school dress up day
-A quick little camera model as a parting gift to my old Photography/Art teacher
-A 'safety' rocking chair/wheelchair model I built in Year 3
