This is a Zine about the growth story of everyone. Maybe this zine will never end. It is like a snail's slime that can be traced after crawling.
I asked many friends about their childhood. Everyone wanted the love of many parents, endless toys, the likes of classmates and so on. This is a need, a desire, a desire to be satisfied. But for those who think their childhood was very painful, what should they do when what they want can never be satisfied. In addition to these adolescent desires that cannot be filled, these interviews are limited to me and my friends. I dare not ask my parents and older people. Their desires may not be on the same level as ours. The loss of ideals, the predicament of reality, these destined experiences must be waiting for me in some corner of the future.
And how does desire arise? The first part is the unavoidable desire of the body. The other part is the desire imposed by the temptation of the outside world. Yuval Harari said in "A Brief History of Mankind": "Personal desire has become the most powerful guardian of the fictional order." "This world is subservient to an imaginary order. The order constructed by imagination is not a personal subjective imagination. , But exists between the subjects, in the common imagination of thousands of people."
In my opinion, desire is endless, and if you want it, you want it. Hope is enough. Demand is a necessity for survival. So the concept of desire is repetition, more, and greater. This is desire. The American psychologist Abraham Maslow in his paper "The Theory of Human Motivation" in 1943 divided human needs into five levels from low to high like a ladder, namely: physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, and respect. Needs and self-fulfillment needs. However, when I analyzed Maslow's hierarchy of needs, I found that he largely ignored the human need for spiritual freedom. When Maslow's theory of needs continues to magnify, demand becomes endless desire. So I want to construct an order of desire in the growth of a person's life.
After interviewing friends around me, combining my own needs, and taking the different periods of human growth as clues, I made some changes to his level of needs. The level of "Wish Traveler" is: First-degree desire-physiological needs and safety needs. The second level desire-material desire; the third level desire-social (love and belonging) need; the fourth level desire-the need for respect and self-achievement; the fifth level desire-freedom.
Therefore, I continue to be in the world of Epicurena Land based on these desire orders, trying to paint different temptations and reconciliations for travellers engulfed by desires.
