While being inspired by clear plastic rulers with grids sold in art stores, I created a clear plastic business card with a grid ruler on the bottom. There are many hidden rules in graphic design, such as using a grid to paying attention to the hierarchy of scale. I found rulers to be fitting to my personality as I find following guidelines helpful navigation tool to aiding my creativity, making sure everything is properly aligned and straightened out.
