年年有鱼
Chinese New Year Poster
There are two fish swimming in the sky.
The character "fish" (鱼 yú), in Chinese, sounds like the word "abundance" (余yú).
“年年有余” means you would always have something at the start of every year.
Lanterns, fireworks, oranges, couplets, "福", and hidden elements of dumplings on the cap of the big lantern and on the wall, are some of our favorite parts of celebration.
