Oceans Publisher Book Cover
In this mockup project for a book cover I chose the cover to show suspense as an emotion. I believe this would-be eye catching causing the view to pick it up and read what it would be about. In this mockup design I show it on a hard book cover, on a soft book cover, and on a digital platform such as an iPad. I also show this design as a trilogy with 3 other titles and designs.
I decided to use cool, warm colors that show calmness along with darker colors to show fear. I decided to use an image that shows a woman alone at sea looking for the hidden pearls, where she will discover a dark secret that has been waiting to be told for centuries. I used red on half of the book title to show alert and made pearls bigger to emphasis the importance of them.
