The Artist Movement in the Retirements:

In order to product works, researches and studies provide the humanity library and gives the chance to publish their thoughts and studies by supervising workshops.

Back to the past century, for example; "Corporation of Yaddo" which had been established in 1900.

And number of examples had been established and managed by global artists, where they had been competeting by attracting popular Artists, Writers and Critics.

The village of art and culture is a new thesis for the centers who concerned in teaching and developing Arts and literature in the arab nation and region.

Where it gives the chance for the big and the moderate artists, full equipment and spaces to experiment Art by goin back to the mother nature and retirements in one of the most beautiful and remote places on the mediterranean far away from all kinds of urban polutions.

The village of Art and Culture is located near "Derotan" town on the foolhills of the coastal mountains in "Al-Qurdaha" city, about 4km from Al-Qurdaha, 40km from Lattakia city and 324km from Damascus city the capital of Syria.And rises approximately 600m from the sea level.

This project had been based on the Artist Movement into the retirements.

Which found the popularity in the past centuries, where it was necessary to find supportive art centers for this movement in the cities who adopt Art and Culture.

So we start searching from the incubator determinants for this movement to a larger scale intellectually, humanly and artistically, not only on the national level, but on the regional level.
