設計介紹
脈思文教 (Math Cultural & Educational Institute) 成立於 2015 年，提供小班制優質的數理教育環境；鼓勵與培訓學生參加國內外數理競賽，提升競爭力；定期舉辦參加運動會、慈善音樂會，健強體能、培養興趣，釋放課業壓力。脈思的室內空間明亮寬敞、舒服且令人感到安心，一進入便可看到一排併攏且排滿書的大書櫃，學生可以在這裡找到參考書以外的各種課外讀物。
在品牌視覺上，脈思原先的標準字為手寫書法，色彩使用較為沈重，給人難以親近的感覺外，與數理的關聯也較為疏遠。因此，新的品牌形象以「明亮、書香氣息、安心」三大特色去著手改善。標誌 (Mark) 以 Math 的 M 結合書本的輪廓，簡約成一個數學的象徵符號。在品牌色彩使用上保留原先的靛藍，並取自室內空間的黃銅、亮灰以及白色，提升整體的明亮度，也給予品牌一個質感與舒適安心的視覺形象。
CONCEPT
MCEI (Math Cultural & Educational Institute) was established in 2015, providing mathematics and science courses and a quality educational environment for small groups of students. MCEI also offers educational support to encourage students participating both domestic and international math and science competitions. Each year, MCEI have a tradition of hosting or joining activity for sport and charity. The interior of MCEI is bright and spacious, feeling comfy and at ease. When entering the space, piles of books on shelfs are at the front, students can easily find and reach all sort of subjects.
For the visual identity, the previous Logo was designed to be a handwriting, and a much traditional type of Chinese calligraphy. The colour of choose is quite heavy, feeling strict and very difficult to get close to. Overall, the visual is not well communicate the relation to math. Therefore, the new image is started to improve from the three key points “Brightness, Books and Cozy.” Using the ‘Ｍ’ from ‘Math’ combine the vector of ‘books’ to create a simplified symbolic mathematical symbol. Colour wise, the old navy blue is remained to utilise in the colour scheme, but adding brassy yellow, light grey and white, which inspired by the interior design in MCEI. The three colours can bring up the cheerfulness, and giving a quality and comfy touch to the brand.
