We see more and more mismatches between supply and demand. The first solution is to deal with batteries to store energy surplus, and release it for use later when it is needed.
But again, as EV presence will continue to grow rapidly on the road in the coming years, the stress on electricity network will become more and more difficult to deal with as the grids where built from a top down prospective where only few energy producers were serving millions of consumers. The future of the electricity grid is written with great system-balancing flexibility systems.
