It's sometimes hard to talk about discriminations in our common life. Because to define 'what is a discrimination' is really difficult. It's not rare that oneself does not realize he/she is discriminated and it's also difficult for others to notice. Anyone can be the parties concerned, so it's treated as a heavy topic. I believe that artistic expression can relieve the hardness of issues.
A gender gap in Japan is in the serious situation. Especially, sciences and technicals field have very low women rate.
I painted this picture with a wish for independent women.
