FISH & BOTTLE - 2D animation made for FIVERR
Animation Process - From Storyboard to final result
The Process began with a very detailed briefing that included a basic storyboard made by the client himself.
After that, the client solicited a more polished storyboard that we ended up using as a visual guide for the rest of the animation process.
I used ADOBE ANIMATE for the basic frame by frame elements in the animation.
After that I designed the background layout in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP using a mix of real images, stock footage and my own drawings.
This SAME PSD file was then used to create ALL the different backgrounds in the animation. Using a few clever tricks (scaling and moving different elements to emulate different angles and shot compositions) and ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS to give each scene the final look (including some particle simulation for the bubbles).
All Scenes where then rendered and put together using ADOBE PREMIERE.
The complete process took around seven weeks. One for storyboarding and finding the basic look, 3 for the frame by frame animation and the rest for composinting and editing.
