This project was given to me by a client of mine on fiverr. He requested to make a video about an typical Indian woman in local attire. She is looking through a window and sees a dog barking and a cat meowing and then she walks. At the end of the scene she looks towards some houses and keeps thinking.
I started with making some rough sketches about the woman and the house.
The toughest challenge I personally faced was drawing the scene and the character from different perspectives. My visualization and drawing skill helped me a lot.
Finally I choose a cool color pallet and designed all the graphics in Adobe Illustrator.
The animation part was very interesting and exciting. Since I am a self taught Graphic designer and animator, my exploring nature encouraged me to experiment with different tools of After effects. Adding sound was quite fun. Some of the sounds were recorded by myself. Some were taken as royalty free sound from websites. They are really a savior.
Finally I do not claim myself as a very good animator or graphic designer, but certainly do claim as an enthusiastic learner and passionate designer. You might see a lot of mistakes in my work, feel free to give any suggestion.
