The Phresh Pharaohs are a San Diego based rap group. I decided to take on this project because most importantly it seemed fun. The project includes the mixtape cover and back, as well as covers for singles and promotional material.
This is a prototype cover and can be used for the rap duos songs that are not singles.
For the cover of the mix tape I wanted something bold, simple, and elegant. I also wanted the cover to be easily trans- lated into covers for singles so consumers or fans can tell who the song is by just by looking at any CD created by the Pharaohs, much like Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Friday collection
