Gym machine that generates electricity:
THE MAIN IDEA OF THE DESIGN:
Is the exercise, you can do in the gym, of the up and down movement of lifting a given weight in a flat bench "conected" to the "back part" of the mechanism (180º degrees rotated) of a bicycle (from the pedals backwards).
In consequence: Electricity can be generated.

Comparison with a 60Watts light bulb:
About the calculations:
60W light bulb
We know that:
P*t=E ; [W*s=J] ; [(J/s)*s=J]
So:
60W*60(s/min)*60(min/h)*10h = 2 160 000 J
Total amount of energy (average) consumed by one 60W light bulb in a day: 2 160 000 J
(60kg)*(10m/s^2)*(0,5mts) = 300J
(300J)*(30rep/min)*(60min/hr)*(5hr) = 2 700 000 J
Total amount of energy produced, by an average person, using the machine in one day:
2 700 000 J
2 700 000 J___________100%
2 160 000 J___________80%
Porcentage of energy produced by the machine compared to the amount consumed average (according to the calculations made before):
80% of the energy generated by the machine
