TEDxUNT was a live event that took place at the University of North Texas Student Union. The theme of this event was "Reimagine" with six different presentations. We recorded the event with three Canon C100s with three zoom lenses (70-200mm, 100-400mm, and 24-70mm). The audio was being fed from an in-house XLR feed into the camera. I edited this video with a multicam sequence in Adobe Premiere. The audio needed some post production repair as the feed had a low buzz throughout the event. Adobe Audition's noise reduction filter cleaned up the audio very well after adjusting the settings.
This project was for the University of North Texas, College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD). Deanna Ooley, who was an interim professor at the time, wanted to create an entertaining video that instructed students on the basics of building pop-up books. I directed, edited, and created the motion graphics for this project. We recorded with two Panasonic HMC-150 HD cameras, one for a wide shot and the other for a close up. I also setup lighting, backdrop, and audio. I had Deanna come in at a later date to record the voiceover narration in the sound booth, which we used a Neumann TLM 102 MT Condenser Microphone for. This microphone is great for voice work as the audio sounds very rich and full.
