Malay Heritage Centre held a special exhibition titled 'Seekor Singa, Seorang Putera, Sebingkai Cermin' (Reflecting and Refracting Singapura) from 2019 to 2020. This special exhibition discusses Singapore’s maritime and cultural significance prior to British and Dutch occupation in the Malay Archipelago.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the exhibition was moved online and we proposed to feature one of the popular folk tales in Malay culture, the Mouse Deer and the Tree.
We adapted stock vectors to create a story told in motion graphic form, with simple animated transitions.
