For this project I had to do the interior and the exterior of a mountain refuge. My concept for this project started from two intersecting geometric shapes which in the final will be an entire shape. Also I was inspired from the project named  “The Final Wooden House” made by 'Sou-Fujimoto Architects'. 

I had the task to make this refuge for four/ six persons for one/two nights, who will be placed in a mountain place from Romania. Everything has to be practical, functional and good for shelter. To make everything easy to use and to have more space in the refuge, i decided to make the bed to have two functional ways: one is for day, it can be use like bench and in the night for sleep. The structure is made by wood, it’s sustainable and practical. 

Also for “the kitchen” is an open space, just with a cooking oven and shelves perfect for food, dishes, condiments. Next to the kitchen is a space for spending the nights talking, making jokes, telling stories and having a good time. I used just a big bench, and sitting on this bench, you can easily enjoy the view of the mountains.

I decided to make all this project made by wood, because I could integrate better the construction in the landscape, also the shape of the refuge can integrate with the mountains from the background.
