MEHL | BRANDING BEIRUT

The name comes from the word Flour in German. Inspired by the name I decided to base the illustration style of the identity on the particles of flour - Pointillism. All items designed have both pointillism illustrations and a rigid geometric contrasting logo. Moreover the extended lines of the M & L in the logo are used to either show a switch in color, or used as indicators of the products. (See chocolate bar design below)

The below chocolate packaging design shows how the logo placement indicates the percentage of cacao in the bar. 
The pointillism illustration of smeared chocolate on the right of the logo is the percentage of cacao.
 - This form of indication was used for all products that vary in types, ex: black coffee / decaf, full sugar, low sugar... -
