Missfits | A project that empowers teenage girls

Social media is gradually progressing into imposing unrealistic beauty standards that are impacting teenage girls’ self-esteem.
Missfits is a movement that spreads awareness on topics such as body positivity, self confidence, media literacy and the beauty of diversity among teenage girls.
The logo is inspired by the 5 body types represented in geometrical shapes. The font was chosen for its imperfect and flawed appearance. Therefore the logo's aim was to reflect a sense of inclusivity and diversity among a large audience of teenagers.
Five characters were created based on the geometrical shapes of the logo. Each character represents a body type, in the aim of promoting inclusivity and diversity for all kind of bodies.The girls' faces include all kind of insecurities that teenage girls fear: a prominent nose, wearing glasses, acne, a chubby face... ​​​​​​​

The launching campaign took place at multiple local schools. Intriguing posters were displayed all over the school aiming to invite the girls to attend workshops and conferences.
The core campaign promoted the missfits app, an online platform that shares knowledge, research and advice.
The reminder campaign, "My Way", an event that hosted conferences, testimonies and workshops
