WHY DO I LOVE

Why Do I Love is an animated exploration of the complex relationship between domestic violence and love. Through frame-by-frame animation, the film depicts a woman who is both violent and loving towards her husband. Even though he does not enjoy the violence, the man still loves her and craves the attention he receives from the person he loves. Without this affection, his life would cease to exist.
THE PROCESS
I started by sketching some different ideas, done by hand and digitally.
