Nostalgic Futures: Speculative Design for the Last Kampong on mainland Singapore

The project brief seek to explore design intervention that explore various scales of preservation as well as progression. For my team and I, we were intrigued by the notion of preservation. While a specific point of time in history would mean a lot to the generation then, it often loses its significance and meaning several generations later. Preservations and conservations is a rather linear approach, so we thought about how could we progressively preserve the kampong, whether in its physicality or spirituality.

I will only be including works that I've done which are renders in the year 2020, and 2040. As well as animations for the subsequent phases.
