This project contains children's book illustrations done for writer Anurudh Umat. The story revolves around a camel named "Sayana" which means intelligent in Hindi. The story is based at an Indian village situated near the city of Bikaner in the desert state of Rajasthan.

The lanscape in this desert is vast and monotonous but the people make up for all the colour in other aspects of their lives, from music and fabrics to food.

The lively relationship of Sayana wilth the people around him is multi-faceted. The color schemeapplied here accentuates the drama in teh various scenes of the story and help give the composition an interesting dimension.
