The lockdown has introduced mixed feelings, I am glad we are trying to reduce the spread of Covid but also sad that I cant see my family or friends etc.
I never intended for the illustration to be animated but I ended up getting inspired by another character artist. I transferred the PS file into AE to create a 17-second video that I turned into a Loop Gif for Instagram.
I added subtle changes to enhance the motion. You can see the background slightly changes colour, helping the overall mood. I added light shade to the ears when the head turns, moved the hair and made the top strap animate to create a less robotic animation.
