The word persimmon in Korea has two meanings: sense and persimmon.
I started with the question, "How do we catch the senses?" and I wanted to create a multi-light that catches the senses (the senses, the persimmon) when I want to. By using the meaning of the word, persimmon tree can be held and fruit-pulling, both longstand and single lighting can be used to suit the user's. The concept of GAM is a Korean sentiment, but I wanted to give a modern and modern feeling for the use of lighting.
감의 중의적인 의미를 이용해 조명에 스토리를 부여하고 행동으로 실행하고자 했습니다. “감떨어졌네, 감잡아라!”라는 말처럼 말 그대로 감을 조명으로 치환시켜, 조명을 붙였다 떼었다하며 감을 잡는 행위의 의미를 경험하고 재미를 느낄 수 있게 하였습니다. 조명이 스탠드에 붙어있을땐 장스탠드로서, 다른 공간에 배치되어 있을땐 단독조명으로 기능해 사용자의 필요에 맞게 공간을 구성할 수 있습니다.
