Graphics interchange format as a media of fashion presentation can be seen as one of the youngest forms of rendering clothes and human figure. Despite the fact that the format has been invented in 1989, in the modern interactive age it is taking it's place not only in fashion, but also in other representational spheres. The format supports compressing a large number of pictures in a single file, in which it can play them in a specific time sequence indefinety, and this allows us to store a lot of ideas in a single document. We are in an era when life runs faster than ever, and this is probably why graphics interchange format is gaining on popularity - on a fast and amusing way it gives us a large number of information. Fashion photography is being replaced on a world wide web by a moving image in form of graphics interchange format, which allows us to present clothes in a whole new light. Through research of graphics interchange format I am the first to define a concept of fashion animation as a media of fashion presentation in Slovenia. There is some individuals who practice the techinque, but noone has defined it as a media of fashon presentation.
