PECULIAR MASKS is an original printed book that combines papercut art and printmaking. The content is a collection of papercut faces that were later transformed to linocuts and printed rectro verso on 80gsm colored A4 paper.

COVER DESIGN
For the edition of 27 books, a unique papercut design was cut out of 250gsm black paper so that each copy would have an individual cover design. The black covers were later overlaid on top of colored paper to highlight the motif.

BOOKBINDING
TO make the project come together, the bookbinding process started with folding and pressing the copies. A simple saddle stitch was the chosen binding technique. After trimming, the corners were rounded.
