Cover story shot for Air Canada's inflight magazine enRoute.
In October 2019, I flew to Taliouine to document the saffron harvest and the International Festival of Saffron. From there we followed the farmers struggling with climate change in the Atlas mountains and ended up in Marrakesh, where the spice is sold in markets or exported.
This piece was published both in print and online in September 2020.
