The Arete, deemed the creativity hub of Ateneo de Manila University, opened in February 2018 to the excitement of many. It became the home of Ateneo’s fine arts students, a space meant to cultivate creativity and innovation not just for faculty and students, but also guests.
For our basic graphic design class, we were tasked to create promotional materials in honor of the grand opening of the Arete. My partner, Ange, and I wanted to bring attention to the variety of spaces within Arete, from galleries, to performance art theaters and sandbox spaces. We wanted to focus on the multi-functionality of the many spaces within Arete, and this is ultimately what we chose to highlight when creating the promotional material designs,
