The task was to design a supplement to the local newspaper in Bergen.
The theme of the magazine was art and design and the content would be mostly local, but also some global. We worked with finding an expression, building a good grid and an identity.
We wanted the supplement magazine to invite the readers. The magazine was to inform about exhibitions and events around the city, and we put most emphasis on events that were not necessarily so large. We wanted to open the cultural world to the medium passionate person. Enlighten those who are seeking, but that might be a bit conservative and not so good at seeking out information themselves. The magazine should be on equal footing with the reader, like a "recommendation from a friend".
