Netflix - Le Fil Rouge

In french, the expression "fil rouge" (literally "Red Thread") refers to a guiding idea or recurring element that ensures the coherence and consistency of a story, what's connecting the dots. The "Netflix threads" are the key to the direction we took on this project. We wanted to use Netflix's characteristic colored lines as a way of sewing reality and Netflix together.
In this commercial, we travel back and forth between reality and what we called the Netflix space. Those two worlds are connected by the recurring use of the threads and a sense of continuous movement. We move forward, slide, dive… All to express the audience's ability to connect, browse and discover stories in the blink of an eye thanks to the Netflix mobile app.
