Concept: This piece is based on the comments lurking on the internet. Sometimes while sitting in the comfort of our chair we forget the kind of damage a few simple words can cause. And its even more evident whenever we see a news about rape online where the comment section gets flooded with questions, not about the welfare of the victim but with questions smearing their honor even further. Questions like why they went there, the time of day or their dress should never be the first questions asked nor should they define how a victim is to be treated.

For the art itself, the lavender color was picked for it being the official color of abuse. White lily was chosen due to it being the symbol of innocence, same reason why the color of the skin is same as the flower's.

As for the title, I thought about many names but in the end I decided to call this piece "Y", because that's how much effort it takes to taint someone's innocence online.
