CAUSE OF DEATH: EXAGGERATION
This academical project was inspired by the “sequences” of the well-known photographer, Duane Michals (1932-). In his projects he approaches topics such as love, death and eternity.
On my sequence of photographs, I tried to ironically represent a dead woman on her own funeral. Over and near the dead body are some useless, for her, items with no sentimental value.
Yet they still exist.
At the last photo, the person is “buried” under exaggeration.
