Introducing the second case study: Flotsam and Jetsam, a design installation at the annual Design Miami fair in 2016 by SHoP Architects.
Analysis of the case study which I also used to produce the following drawings.
Main inspirations I took from the case study all the way through to my final proposal:
         - Bamboo material as it is eco-friendly and versatile
         - Curved roof shape
         - Open design allows maximum light with wide openings
         - Use of carbon fibre does not completely block out light, similar to perforations

Analysis of changes to be made to my first iteration model after researching case study.

I combined my two revision sketches using the Lamina Cross Fades Method to create my final hybrid.
{Lamina cross fades - create layers and disrupt them to produce distorted frames and surfaces}
