I designed these book covers for a series on furniture from the 1900's. The target group is young adults, interested in classy furniture and trends. I designed the books to be decorative in themselves, just like the furniture pieces in them. I also designed the logo and the idea of the brand, Shelf. They give out the kind of books that go "on display" in your living room, on your coffee table or in the well-visited book shelf. 

 

I used the characteristics of one furniture piece from the different decades to speak for loudly for their era. I chose fairly famous pieces of furniture to cath the attention of my target group my recognition. In the numbers '1930', 1950' and '1970' I used typical wallpaper from that time.
