VISUAL CONTEMPORARY ISTANBUL
Contemporary Istanbul is the leading annual art fair in Turkey, situated at the meeting point of Europe and Asia in one of the great cities of the world. Contemporary Istanbul takes place each September and offers a platform for the city’s thriving art scene, growing art market and collector base, as well as an access point to the best contemporary art from the wider region.
CI is also conducting activities throughout the year to develop contemporary art and culture and to increase awareness in the field and to promote them both inside and outside Turkey as well as to strengthen relations in the region by organizing international events and programmes.
Contemporary Istanbul’s 15th edition, sponsored by Akbank, will take place online via; virtual.contemporaryistanbul.com and will be live from December 21, 2020 to January 6, 2021; with the VIP Preview Days from December 19 to December 21, 2020. The physical edition will take place in the spring of 2021.

During my internship at Artsxdesign, I was involved in several design projects–one of them was the media partnership between Artsxdesign and Contemporary Istanbul. My role in this project was to design a poster for the sponsors gallery at the virtual fair and a 15-second video for the partnership announcement, which we published on our social media channels.
