This umbrella holder is inspired by the structure of its antique predecessors. My goal was to create a modern version of the umbrella stand while maintaining a connection with its past. The back wood support is made by steam bending, a technique that is also used to create umbrella handles, further connecting the umbrella stand with its purpose. It is designed to be shipped flat, addressing both economical and ecological constraints.
