Berozgaar translates to "Jobless" in Urdu. The economic crisis of Pakistan rules out the middle class and keeps them in a constant state of despair. There are over 12,000 annual Masters Degree students who spent a lot of money and time on their education - all jobless and on the streets. 

This was a film I directed, wrote, edit and shot as a "hang in there" card to everyone who has been facing financial hardships in their life. To all of those who have lost their jobs or can't find new ones - or to those dreamers who cannot imagine leaving a job they despise in order to bring food to the table. 

This film hits close to my heart as it reminds me of the daily struggle we all go through in our own way.
