《台湾烟云》系列包含四幅作品——台江海战、漳泉械斗、大甲西社和治警事变，分别讲述郑成功收复台湾的大海战、漳州泉州移民抢夺资源的械斗事件、大甲西社原住民抗清事件和蒋渭水等义士反抗日本殖民统治而造成警民冲突的治警事件。系列插画用霓虹色彩渐变、夸张的视角构图和魔幻现实主义神兽再现台湾历史的恢弘，让观众感知中国传统文化的温存。
