We are thrilled to be a witness to the diversification of the art world.

What remains unwavering, is our commitment to bring the "OH" effects to daily life, 
sugar the understanding of contemporary art, 
and provide visual candy and candy for the brains. 

Theme for Issue 01
Art Without Art

The art world is never the same as before. 
The concept of postmodernism changes. 
New medias, street art, web art and self-taught artists were accepted by the art world. 
This issue talks about those arts without “art” in the age of populism and internet.
Front matters.
The first featured article is an essay giving a general knowledge of the changes happening in the art world. 
Nowadays, arts are opposite to spectacular, expensive art objects, which destined for the museums and the billionaires mansions. The age of populism and internet provides numerous possibilities for both artists and contemporary art.
The second featured article is a photo essay introduce Oscar Chavez, a Chicago based artist (recently moved to NY), who has absolutely no relationship with School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
The third featured article is an interview with Iceland textile artist, Ýr Jóhannsdóttir. It talks about How internet puts her out in the world and makes audiences related to her personal projects.
