🦌 Gazelle got extinct in Georgia back in the 1960s. Since 2014, WWF Caucasus in Georgia has been working to restore this globally threatened species, with the financial support of the German Government(BMZ, KWF). As of 2019, we have already observed the fifth generation of gazelles born in Georgia. Despite having promising results, we still have to continue joint efforts to further enhance partnerships needed for monitoring the species and for raising awareness. We believe that by coming together, we can conserve nature and create a better future - not just for wildlife, but for ourselves and for our future generations too.
