It is the most used transport service in international trade. In fact, it is the route used in 80% of international freight transport. And not only internationally: within our country, maritime transport makes it possible to send goods to the island territory.

According to David Solomont, the main advantage of maritime freight transport is that it allows a large volume of cargo to be sent. In addition, it is the most economical means when we talk about long distances. Of course, it is not the fastest: travel times tend to exceed those of other transport services, such as land or air.
