My Design decisions never really came together for this project as easily as others, but with that said I'm happy with how it came out.

At the time, the month of October was near and I took that as inspiration, as well as thinking about how some 3D Mario levels looked on newer games.
The hammers and windmill were required to be placed in this level and its what sparked my thinking for a Mario-esque theme with my slightly haunted idea. I feel they didn't clash too bad and worked together nicely.
A lot of my small doodles became the final product, I didn't want to over complicate my models further than they were. But some did prove to be a challenge to model.
this was the only gif that'd work for me strangely, but as simple as this ghost is they're quite frightening when they're going to hit you.
I knew I wanted to have a visually fun and spooky themed game, but not at all really scary, More cute than anything. With the skulls and bones I made at the time a ghost felt fitting.
I had multiple ideas for how these hammers could swing, and i did try to make them work, but in the end they caused my problems than progress so I wound up with these pendulum-like swinging hammers.
The Fences I knew i wanted to create a maze with, not only that but if i came across a particularly hard part of the game i could add these as 'bumpers' to keep that player from falling and starting over.
