This project mainly focuses on my fashion photography during this pandemic period (March 2020 -December 2020) and incorporation of new techniques and understanding of lighting into my photos as well.
The model here is Nazly Mirza and the MUA: Madona Sarkar. There was an issue with location scouting here so had to settle with a rooftop but made the most of it. and since it was about to rain decided to give it a bit of dramatic flair.
By the end of December i had to get my creativity out somehow and when i got to dubai luckily Nilofer (the MUA and one who came up with the concept) approached me for this and it really was fun to execute in the short time span that we had. The model for this project is Varsha who initiated this whole thing to participate in miss kerala contest 2020
At the start of march i actually approached my close friend Adarsh who was thankfully patient enough while i fumbled around with my speed lights in his room. But at the end of the shoot it gave me the confidence i needed to use them in actual shoots (as seen above) from then on.
This was actually my second shoot in this period where i tried to use what i learned to use. The MUA was Madona again and she was in charge of the styling as well. Here i tried to make use of just one light and a low key shot.
