Imagine Romania of 1998, getting ready to launch the first ever Human Rights Film Festival in Romania, with the unequal contribution of Monika Stepanova and the Czech Centre in Bucharest.

In Romania, at that time, few people knew and were able to spoke "the Human Rights language". This global language got its much needed awareness with a carefully carved identity.
