Ocean and Waterdrops 1, oil painting, cotton canvas, 24,8 x 30 cm
Ocean and Waterdrops 2, oils on wood panel, 30 x 40 cm, object frame 40 x 50 cm
Ocean And Waterdrops 2 is the continuation of a new series of paintings depicting surreal seascapes with waterdrops. I painted the first painting a few years ago. In terms of the painting process, blending is the main application used in the paintings in this series. Finally I added 5 drops of water. The painting is preserved and fixed in an object frame. I chose an object frame because it makes the painting pop and allows the oil paints to breathe freely and openly and not be covered by wood or other material. I noticed that the edges of oil paintings turn yellow over time when they are covered by a frame.
