Sahaj Box
In an age where everything is going digital, this sahaj (to safe keep) portfolio box is an attempt to engage the viewer physically. The box is a size of a trinket box with polaroid size photos of my work. The idea is that you only put precious things in trinket box and print photos of things which hold a special place in our heart. My work holds both that place.

It works with a simple mechanism wherein a magnet is attached at the base of the sliding knob on the handle and a free moving metal rod is drilled inside the bottom part. when the magnet is at the extreme right the metal rod is attracted to the magnet and shuts the box and once you slide it the metal rod goes back to its place and the box is unlocked.
