For this weeks assignment we had to take our best photos from our photo shoot and apply different effects from the "How To Create Bada$$ Effects In Photoshop!" We had to take pictures of important items that make us up as a graphic designer for promotion purposes and apply effects to the photos. The effects chosen are Color effects, Hollywood effects, Lighting effects, and a choice of an effect of our own. The effect I chose to do was a commercial effect.

The effect I chose to display for my postcard was a Hollywood inspired effect from commercial effects. I wanted to convey a burnt wood-like texture to have the appearance that my items were under the burnt wood. Considering my business card and other branded materials have a black-wooden texture I thought that adding a brown burnt wood texture would be a solid idea. My tagline for my brand is create, innovate, inspire. Adding that and my logo to my self promo in order to display my brand for promotional purposes I thought would be a good idea.

Overall, this was a interesting project and I will consider adding this into my portfolio.
