HATRED

In Malaysia, approximately 84% of children suffer from bullying regardless of a place like a school or a playground, and 33% of children have gone through cyberbullying, accordingly to the National Human Rights Society, HAKAM. School bully happens not only in Malaysia, but it includes all around the globe, regardless of age and race.

Bullying behaviour shows that the person holds more power and control than others, according to researcher Sheeri Gordon (2021). Secondly, the behaviour is shaped by an abusive household. This bully issue happens because the bullies were shaped and modelled with violence and aggression, making it okay to hurt others physically or mentally. When I was seven years old, I was a victim of bullying. The bullies were six years older and much bigger than me, a slender girl who barely ate at the school cafeteria to avoid the bullies from hurting me physically. The bullying story did not end when I moved to a new school to pursue high school from Shah Alam to Klang. Every day seems darker and heavier. I never intended to attract so many people to be my friends, which was why girls in my class had the nerve to send me threat messages. I only had one Chinese girl named Lee Lin Yi friend, but unfortunately, she moved to a different school, and I continued to suffer for months without her. I was alone.
