Crayola Ad Campaign

This ad campaign was for my Art Direction class under Professor Velez. I was assigned to be the Art Director/Graphic Designer (I designed all the ads and I did the copywriting too) while my groupmates took over the business side and the paperwork. Credits go to my groupmates for coming up with the main ideas for the campaign.

Product: Crayola
Big Idea: Brighter Future
Target Market: Mothers (or Parents)
Secondary Target Market: Children
Creative Brief: Make Four (4) connected print ads for the campaign. These ads must show how mothers trust Crayola, the number one Crayons brand, because they only want the best for their children. The ads must also show children on the side drawing with their Crayola crayons to show that by using such and with also using their creativity, they will aim to have a brighter future.

About the Ads:
The ad promotes how creativity and dreaming big can lead kids to a brighter future
- The ad features drawings of kids' future aspirations
- Targeted to Moms (And also to Parents, in general)
- Shows that Crayola is a leading brand and the best choice through the box at the lower right-hand corner (i.e. "Preferred by Teachers")
- The Crayola Crayons beside the artworks emphasizes that Crayola crayons were used for the drawings. It also gives kids an idea of what they can do with certain Crayola colors.
