Self Promo Postcard

For this project, I chose the photo that has the most design elements in the composition because I thought that would capture the idea better. For the color effect photo, I created a mint green rectangle over the whole image and used the Difference blending mode to create a glow-in-the-dark effect. Here is the result:
For the Hollywood effects photo, I used masking to cut out each item and made copies of the canvas to place them under the masked layer. This created the impression that the painting on the canvas was in the shape of each item. Here is the result:
For the lighting effects photo, I made a brush effect out of a photo of a flare and used that with different opacities and shades of yellow to create a glare effect on the can of La Croix and the white paint. Then I used the round hard brush with a very low opacity yellow and created a bokeh effect. Result below:
For the designer's choice photo, I used a photo of a coffee stained pattern placed on top of the image and used the saturation blending mode. It gave it a textured look with a pretty teal hue. 
I chose the Hollywood effects photo for my postcard. It was my favorite out of the designs because I felt the composition looked more cohesive this way, and it was an interesting take on my painting.
